Main terminals are the core components of structure networks. By default they provide:

  • private and corporation storage
  • equipment facility
  • docking capability and relation based access rights management
  • emergency protection (the extent of this protection depends on the tech level of the main terminal)

Connected to a network main terminals are the root of the control flow. Every node in a network must have a connection path - mostly but not necessary through other nodes - to the main terminal in order to function properly.

One corporation is able to place three main terminals on one island and the total number of terminals cannot exceed twelve per island.
