Armors
Armor plates Additional armor plates expand the maximum hit points of the robot.
Armor repairers Repairs your own robot's hull on the battlefield.
Remote armor repairers Fixing other, friendly robots' armor damage, but cannot be used on yourself.
Armor hardeners They are designed to provide more defense against a specific damage type.
- Lightweight frames
- By equipping lightweight frames you actually replace the standard chassis with a lighter one, enabling a faster robot movement. Lighter chassis have less HP, however, and can more easily be slowed by demobilizers because of their lower momentum.
Armor repairer tunings Reduce cycle time and improve the repair rate of both remote and non-remote armor repairers.
Shields
Shields are a preventive defense type that protects the hull while using energy from the accumulator. The shield's most important parameter is the absorption ratio which shows how much damage (defined in HP) can be deflected by using up accumulator energy, or AP.
The shield radius is actually the strength of the shield. The smaller this radius, the more energy it needs to protect a large robot. The most efficient defense is to apply a shield with the largest absorption ratio and shield radius on the smallest possible robot.
The most significant drawback of shields: when they are on, you cannot use any kind of weapons. Shield hardeners are designed to strengthen the shields you have already equipped. Some EWAR modules can still be used, so experiment!
