The world of Perpetuum consists of Islands of many types and shapes.
Each island has a type which usually gives it particular attributes different from other types.
Islands also have a Faction associated with it to indicate which native Nian faction used to control that island, and will have predominant NPC presence on that island.
Faction also indicates what Ore and Plants will be available and grow natively on those islands.
